Outstanding Property Management

We have used Remax Solutions, Strathpine for property management services for our Deception Bay property for several years now. We see Property Management as being akin to Cat Juggling – trying to keep all your “cats” in the air – tenants happy, owners content and tradies turning up when they’re supposed to. Things get really interesting when a tenant vacates and exit inspections have to be completed, bonds wrangled over, potential new tenants interrogated and paperwork completed. And when things go wrong, they can go wrong very quickly through no fault of the property manager – and this is when you really see how good they are and just whose corner they are in. Kayleen Starr and Jade Eustace have recently proven their metal when our “perfect” tenants went feral and thought it perfectly OK to stop paying their rent and vacate our neat little cottage looking like a heavy metal concert had taken place the night before. She immediately went into action and although she resisted our urging to take a piece of 4 x 2 to the little darlings, she got the place cleaned up, re-listed and tenanted again in quick time. Then she pursued the pair (legally) for the $500 they still owed after the bond was used up. She persisted. They folded. The money appeared. Ten points to Kayleen. Tenants, Zero. Kayleen and Jade are also very familiar with the Residential Tenancies Act, a must for property managers to enable them to guide owners in what they can and can’t do and in giving appropriate notices to tenants when rent is overdue, inspections planned or that a lease will soon expire. Being very busy people and living interstate, this takes a lot of pressure off us and this is one property manager that we haven’t felt the need to “manage” – with others we have often felt that we were managing the manager. We recommended Remax Solutions, Strathpine to our niece for her Brisbane property after she had sacked her first P.M. for incompetence. She has been very happy with their service.
